Abstract: In order to prevent personal accidents in railway operation and ensure employees'safety in inspection and repair works, a safety guarantee system was established. Firstly, Beidou navigation system and intelligent monitoring system were used to collect location information of operators' unsafe behaviors in real time. Then, the information was analyzed and monitored through network and system, and standardized operation procedure was checked before unsafe behaviors were analyzed and early warning feedback was delivered. At the same time, video monitoring room was connected by the system automatically to give an alarm when the train reached a certain distance and operator protection was not in effect. The results show that the safety guarantee system can effectively reduce labor intensity of protectors, and overcome protection obstacles caused by geographical factors, meteorological conditions, protection awareness and physical conditions, thus effectively reducing personal injury accidents and protection expenses.
